1. Hike to the Hollywood sign

The infamous Hollywood sign, your trip to California won’t be fulfilled until you see the iconic sign at least once. 2. Golden Gate Bridge

Located in the heart of San Francisco is the one of a kind Golden Gate Bridge. Channel your inner “Full House” star and drive across the bridge in a convertible or just roll the windows down to take in the views. Wanting to get your exercise for the day? Grab a bike or put your sneakers on and walk across the 3-mile bridge stretching across the San Francisco Bay and the Pacific Ocean. Feeling a little luxurious? 3. Skydive California

July 17, 1955, Walt Disney opened his original Disneyland theme park and is now divided into 8 separate magical lands. This includes Tommorwland, Critter Country, New Orleans Square, Adventureland, Main Street, U.S.A, Mickey’s Toontown, Frontierland, and Fantasyland.

7. Alcatraz Island

If in the San Francisco area take the day to visit Alcatraz Island. Home to one of the most historic federal prisons in America. Just a simple ferry ride transports you over to the island where you can expect a day full of rich history and panoramic views from all over the island.

8. Venice Beach

Have you really been to California if you haven’t been to Venice Beach? With an endless amount of things to do, Venice beach is perfect for any age, even the little ones! Enjoy fine dining, shops, roller skating and of course the boardwalk. Home to celebrities like Julia Roberts and Kate Beckinsale, keep your eyes peeled because you’ll never know who you might run into! Venice Beach is very crowded on Sundays and less packed on weekdays so it is suggested to plan accordingly.

9. Hollywood Walk of Fame

In the heart of Los Angeles lies the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Stretching 1.3 miles long you can find yourself engrossed in the history of hundreds of hall of famers while snapping pics with some of your favorites.

10. Pacific Coast Highway

If you are itching for another adventure, then you might want to consider road tripping down the Pacific Coast highway. From San Francisco to San Diego glide across different valleys and mountains while taking in all the views including the Pacific Ocean. Estimated 10 hours from start to finish, make a fun trip out of it while stopping at different locations or just soaking in all the scenery around you. Definitely a humbling experience to say the least.
